VBYBI SCHOLARSHIP TOURNAMENT WEEKEND
Thomas Damon Memorial Scholarship Tournament
June 4th-6th 2021

For the duration of the weekend, anyone in attendance will wear a face covering!
Bowlers will wear face coverings over their nose and mouth while bowling!
Spectatorship is not limited. Social Distancing is not required, but encouraged.
Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to start time!!
Required at Check-in:
1. Current Sanction and JR. Gold Membership
2. Completed Ball Registration Card - Available Here
3. Any walk-in payments must be in CASH ONLY or online via PayPal.
4. Face mask worn over mouth and nose.
Friday, June 4, 2021 – College Meet & Greet (Currently 5 Confirmed Coaches and/or Athletic Team Reps)
12:00 – 4:00 – Youth can bowl on our SPECTO/CLUTCH Lanes to practice

Saturday, June 5th, 2021 - (Qualifying – 5 games each squad)
7:00 am – Doors open/ Check in for 8:00 squad
8:00 am – Announcements and National Anthem
8:10 am – 15 Minutes of Practice
8:25 am – Start of competition – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!
*****Break to re-condition for 1:00 pm Squad
12:00 pm – Remote Check in for 1:00 pm squad / ON SITE RE-ENTRY
12:15 pm – Bowlers and Spectators may enter building as conditions permit.
1:00 pm – Announcement and National Anthem
1:10 pm - Practice
1:25 pm – Start of competition – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!

5:00 pm –Remote Check in for 6:00 Squad
5:15 pm - Bowlers and Spectators may enter building as conditions permit.
6:00 pm - Announcement and National Anthem
6:10 pm – Practice
6:25 pm – Start of competition – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!
Announcements for Top 8 per division will be announced upon verification of scores.
Sunday, June 6th, 2021 – Bracket / Match Play
7:30 am – Doors open/Check in
8:30 am – Announcements/ National Anthem
8:45 am – Practice
9:00 am – Competition Begins – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!
Double Elimination Brackets – Each match will be 1 game - winner determined by total pin fall.
In all matches, the higher seed will choose which bowler bowls first.
*In the event of a tie during match play bracket rounds, then a 9th and 10th frame roll off will determine the winner. This will continue until a winner is determined.
**In the event that the final round does not yield a 2nd loss for either bowler, a 1 game match will immediately follow to determine the winner.
***Any division that does not have 8 bowlers to field the aforementioned format, an appropriate format will be determined based on field size by the Tournament Director.
