VBYBI Bowling Ball Exchange Program
Coach's Portal
Whether a youth bowler is getting their first fitted ball or transitioning to heavier equipment, bowling balls can be expensive. Or perhaps the youth bowler would like to try their hand at sport patterns and need help rounding out their arsenals, now we're getting VERY expensive. The goal of the VBYBI Bowling Ball Exchange program is to provide youth bowlers with easy access to used equipment to meet those needs.
This program is currently available to Bowling Centers in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Hampton and Newport News.
Coaches, below is a list of bowling balls currently available at one of our participating centers. When possible, images of the equipment are available by clicking the button "View Images".

Filters:
At the top of the window, you will see two options to filter the available equipment. First, select the weight that is needed. If you'd also like to then filter by brand, that option is also available.
While we certainly encourage an "Exchange" of equipment, it is not a requirement. If you know a youth bowler who would benefit from a piece listed below then we need to do our best to get it into their hands. If they are moving up and would like to trade in their lighter equipment, that would be appreciated. Again, while it is encouraged, it will never be a requirement.
If you have equipment you'd like to see put to good use, contact Doug at dmausderau@outlook.com. Or simply drop them off at Pinboy's at the Beach and let them know they are for the Ball Exchange Program.
While access to view the list should be made available to all youth coaches in their respective programs, we would prefer requests and exchanges be submitted though your center's head coach or league representative. We do our best to keep the list updated and current, however please have more than one choice when possible when making a request.
Parents. As mentioned above we would like all equipment requests come through your program's coaches or league representatives. This will give us the best opportunity to match equipment to the bowler and be assured that the bowlers needs are being met.
When requesting, please include ball Model, Name, Weight and Serial Number as listed in the individual descriptions.
All requests can be made through the form found here: Ball Request Form
If you have any questions regarding the VBYBI Bowling Ball Exchange Program, contact Doug at dmausderau@outlook.com.
Any ball not claimed after 2 weeks will be added back into the inventory list.
