3. Any walk-in payments must be on site VIA PAYPAL
Saturday, June 10, 2023 - (Qualifying – 5 games each squad) – Using all lanes and moving each game
7:00 am – Doors open/ Check in for 8:00 squad
8:00 am – Announcements and National Anthem
8:10 am – 15 minutes of Practice
8:25 am – Start of competition – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!
*****Break to re-condition for 1:00 pm Squad
12:00 pm – Remote Check in for 1:00 pm squad / ON SITE RE-ENTRY
1:00 pm – Announcement and National Anthem
1:10 pm - Practice
1:25 pm – Start of competition – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!
*****Break to re-condition for 6:00 Squad
5:00 pm – Check in for 6:00 Squad
6:00 pm - Announcements and National Anthem
6:10 pm – Practice
6:25 pm – Start of competition – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!
Announcements for Top 8 per division will be announced upon verification of scores of all squads and posted on VBYBI.com and the VBYBI Facebook page. Any bowler with multiple Top 8 finishes will take the highest finish for bracket seeding on Sunday.
Sunday, June 11, 2022 – Bracket Finals
7:30 am – Doors open/Check in
8:30 am – Announcements/ National Anthem
8:45 am – Practice
9:00 am – Competition Begins – ALL SURFACE CHANGES MUST STOP!
Double Elimination Match Play – Competition start 9:00 am
Each match will be 1 game – winner determined by total pin fall.
In each match the higher seed will select their starting lane.
*In the event of a tie during match play bracket rounds, then a 9th and 10th frame roll off will determine the winner. This will continue until a winner is determined.
**In the event that the final round does not have yield a 2nd loss for either bowler, a 1 game match will immediately follow to determine the winner.
***Any division that does not have 8 bowlers to field the aforementioned format, an appropriate format will be determined based on field size by the Tournament Director.
